Introducing Catalina Alexandra
Briefly share how you became a freelancer.
When I think about it, I’ve always been a freelancer. I believe is part of my nature. Starting as a professional dancer and now as a business owner, I e always enjoyed the freedom, flexibility and crazy enough, the challenges of the unknown.
What has been your biggest win as a freelancer?
Growth. There’s no room for complacency when you are a freelancer in my opinion.
What are some of the hurdles you’ve overcome as a freelancer in Houston? Do you think these hurdles are indicative to Houston or to the freelancer profession overall?
The biggest hurdle I’ve overcome is probably myself. I still get on my own way, but I’ve noticed that my feet are more planted, and the belief on myself and what I offer is becoming unshakable.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a freelancer?
Trust your gut. Every single time.
Let’s say I’m a client that’s looking to hire a freelancer that does what you do. Why should I hire you?
The products I create are not only high quality, nontoxic, vegan and cruelty free, but they are created with impeccable integrity, honoring nature, and the guidance received during each creating process.
