Briefly share how you became a freelancer.
After the closing of my clothing boutique in December, I continued to serve my clients with styling, personal shopping and photo sessions.
What has been your biggest win as a freelancer?
Meeting amazing women and working creatively with other professionals.
What are some of the hurdles you’ve overcome as a freelancer in Houston? Do you think these hurdles are indicative to Houston or to the freelancer profession overall?
Getting people to know what I do. I think it’s something that affects every freelancer.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a freelancer?
Get yourself out there and be patient.
Let’s say I’m a client that’s looking to hire a freelancer that does what you do. Why should I hire you?
I have a great sense of women and men’s bodies, I am very resourceful and find special pieces for those who seek my help. I truly believe that everyone can look fashionable at any size.
